Home from Home

My final semester documentary project exploring the experiences and emotions of a family from Afghanistan seeking asylum in Britain.

The documentary tails Mujdeh Yousef, a young mother and university student in glasgow, who escaped Afghanistan in 2001 seeking asylum. It also encounters Glasgow based consultant psychiatrist Ahmed Khan, who expresses his anger towards government immigration policies and dawn raids.

On a personal level I was involved in producing/directing the production aswell as the majority of camerawork.
